Open Movement Research

How do we work on the movement? How do we research a choreographic material and create new dances? What does the studio work look like for a choreographer, in the very early stage of a creation?

2024 will see the creation of the next opus of the Chiron is Aries cycle. This fifth opus will contain several solos among which one that will be performed by Frédéric Gies themself. On June 4th 2023, Frédéric will open the doors to the studio while they start the creation process for this new opus. Audience will be welcome all afternoon, at any time, to witness the birth of a new creation, in a silent setting.
